Following this, we will dive into the essential prerequisites, including the core Jira configurations and settings necessary to unlock the full potential of the plans feature. Students will learn how to set up their projects and boards in a way that provides clear data for accurate planning and reporting, ensuring they can maximize the value they get from the tool from day one.
The second half of the course will move into practical application and advanced topics, demonstrating how to use Jira plans to solve common project management challenges. We will explore techniques for managing cross-team planning and visualizing dependencies to identify and mitigate risks before they impact the project schedule.
