Description:

Agile is process of managing projects or work, iterative and incremental development with frequent feedback where success is measured by delivered results. Scrum is a framework to manage iterative incremental work, which means a team of < 7-9 people, work for a short period of time called “sprints” say 2 weeks and then demonstrate real stuff which they committed at beginning of starting the work

Scrum works,

  • It is because the traditional way of developing software is so filled with waste that a simple Scrum implementation delivers results in short time.
  • Making people to talk to each other results in tremendous improvement.

Takeaways:

What’s the Catch?

Scrum makes everybody happy!

According to Henrik Kniberg the main benefit from implementing Scrum is happier people:

  •  The customers are happier because they receive business value faster and earlier.
  •  The development teams are happier because they are working together for a higher goal and receiving   concrete feedback as they go, and because they are getting more done in less time.
  •  Everybody is happier because of improved trust and increased revenue.
