Gone are the days when products engineering called the shots when to release. What took years for new products release, are now measured in days. What took months for updates occur in minutes! Customer responsiveness is the key to successful products delivery – whether it is software, hardware, or anything else. Building a capability to release products on demand and enabling that ability within an organization is the prime goal for DevOps. DevOps is a mindset, a culture and a set of technical practices.
