Event Description

Working virtually may become the new normal for many professionals. Managing remote teams is decidedly more complicated when the team members and stakeholders have vastly different communication styles. How do you align these diverse groups of people who work remotely and sustain productive team meetings, project status checks, and feedback sessions?

Join PMI Silicon Valley on July 7th to learn how you can harness your emotional intelligence and successfully communicate with differently thinking people to create a high-performing project team.Logo PMISV UCSCSVX

You'll learn to:

  • Recognize the climate and mood of team members and stakeholders.
  • Listen critically to find common ground to engage diverse team members.
  • Adapt your communications and expectations to engage cooperation.
  • Encourage thoughtful solution-focused collaboration.
  • Provide effective feedback to remote working teams.

PM Insight Sunnyvale Virtual Meeting - Let’s Talk Sustainability – Global and Professional

"What is sustainability?" We will take a global view touching the UN Sustainable Development Goals, project Draw Down and the concept of a circular economy. Then we will shift to business realities around sustainability and talk about how companies are building awareness around CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), how supply chain choices amplify impact and what is a B Corp. Conducted in a conversational, workshop style, our goal is to have a better understanding of the interconnectivity around sustainability, share experiences and identify what we can do to foster a more sustainable future.
