Summary:
One of the largest benefits of using both frameworks is alignment. However, few organizations have tailored OKRs and Agile to create alignment across the organization. In fact, the most popular practices used in organization actually prevent alignment vertically within an organization when both are used. This misalignment is easily corrected when the core pieces of both framework are understood aside from the techniques used to implement them. When the purpose and core tenets are well understood, then organizations are empowered to select the practices and techniques which are more suited for alignment. The purpose of this workshop is to cover some of the best practices that empower OKR and Agile Integration in an organization. It begins with an overview of the core components of OKR and Agile. It includes a discussion on the most common practices and why it may be more efficient to use different techniques when an organization uses OKR and Agile in tandem. The workshop concludes with practical advice on implementation including nomenclature and cadences. This workshop is intended for any who wish to unleash the promised benefits of both frameworks that have been out of reach of your organization.
