Monthly the chapter holds seven geographically dispersed (Project Management) PM Breakfast Meetings in San Francisco’s Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay. Each of these is a small gathering (10 to 15) project managers for a discussion of the current PM environment, sharing of information, and brainstorming of current challenges. The meeting's agenda is the topics brought by the attendees. Every meeting is facilitated by a chapter volunteer. |

PMO Round Table Breakfast Meeting - May 2023When: May 10, 2023 7:30 am-9:00 am Where: Virtual Meeting (Registrants will receive joining details from Meeting Leader) The Chapter holds a Breakfast Round Table focused upon the PMO Practice and Operations once a month. This round table group provides a general forum to discuss various issues, problems, and challenges related to organizing, operating and managing a PMO within any organization. PM Insight Sunnyvale Virtual Meeting - What Metrics Will Your Teams Find Useful?With data comes baggage. Many teams use metrics to prove their value-add or to show that goals are met or missed. Some use metrics at the individual level to decide promotions or compensation or as a passive form of competition. What would happen instead if we used data to inspire richer conversations? What if that data captured team trade-offs and inspired a culture of experimentation as teams played with different ways of working? Come hear the story about how one organization did just that. PM Breakfast Meeting - San Jose - May 2023When: 12 May 2023 7:30 am-9:00 am Where: Virtual Meeting (Registrants will receive joining details from Meeting Leader) This is a facilitated round table discussion on agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. The intent of the meeting is to promote an informal gathering of project managers to discuss current topics in the profession, receive suggestions from the other attendees on current project challenges, or share/receive information on items of interest. These meetings are open to anyone who is interested. The only cost is what you order form the menu, separate checks. |
