Description:
Monthly the chapter holds seven geographically dispersed (Project Management) PM Breakfast Meetings in San Francisco’s Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay. Each of these is a small gathering (10 to 15) project managers for a discussion of the current PM environment, sharing of information, and brainstorming of current challenges. The meeting's agenda is the topics brought by the attendees. Every meeting is facilitated by a chapter volunteer. |

PMO Round Table Breakfast Meeting - February 2022When: 09 February 2022, 7:30 am-9:00 am Where: Virtual Meeting (Registrants will receive joining details from Meeting Leader) The Chapter holds a Breakfast Round Table focused upon the PMO Practice and Operations once a month. This round table group provides a general forum to discuss various issues, problems, and challenges related to organizing, operating and managing a PMO within any organization. The format is open, with round-robin topics decided by the attendees each month. If you are, or have been, involved in any of the following activities, this round table will be for you. |

PM Insight Sunnyvale Virtual Meeting - Enterprise Resource Planning – What and How do you implementThis session will address why companies use ERP solutions – what are the typical use cases and types of implementations which are common. ERP can be a driver of change, digital transformation, optimization, can support back-office functions and is undergoing substantial technical transformation with adoption of cloud SaaS solutions. Given these use cases, we will discuss methods of implementation based on the scenario. Waterfall may suite some uses, agile for others, continuous build in others. We will review key project management structures such as a PMO, PMO as a Service, Portfolio management, best practice PMO capabilities and PM accelerators. We will address best practices roadmap and assessment approaches to define the implementation scope. |

PM Breakfast Meeting - San Jose - Feb 2022When: 11 February 2022 7:30 am-9:00 am Where: Virtual Meeting (Registrants will receive joining details from Meeting Leader) This is a facilitated round table discussion on agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. The intent of the meeting is to promote an informal gathering of project managers to discuss current topics in the profession, receive suggestions from the other attendees on current project challenges, or share/receive information on items of interest. These meetings are open to anyone who is interested. The only cost is what you order form the menu, separate checks. |
