PM Insight Fremont - Leadership that Amplifies Innovation and Promotes Sustainability
PM Insight-Fremont:
Leadership that Amplifies Innovation and Promotes Sustainability
Where: Virtual Meeting (Registrants will receive joining details from the Meeting Leader on the day of the event)
Societal transformations over the past few years grew new industries and possibilities for how work can be. In parallel, with accelerating climate change, companies are facing challenges including meeting sustainability targets through innovation. To invent solutions to solve these challenges, we all must take on the onus to act within our control. Project managers, and company leaders in general, are uniquely positioned to not only solve technical but also social challenges that hinder us from attaining a sustainable future.
Successful leaders in organizations understand that innovating is achieved through both technical and social innovations. For instance, many organizations aspire to retain top talent to maximize innovation, yet have blind-spots that lead to increased turn-over which adds cost, delays timelines, and decreases moral. Successful leaders do not struggle with turnover because they attract and amplify diverse talent. This presentation discusses vital skills for any leader who wishes to leverage the coupled power of technical and social innovation in their organization.
Takeaways:
You will learn:
- Traits of a successful leader that attracts and amplifies diverse talent that participants can immediately practice
- Insight into market trends that shape the future of work and how that impacts project management
- Deeper understanding of psychological safety and how it correlates with sustainability
- Resources to support participants on their leadership journey
