Before there was the discipline of Business Analytics, project management professionals tracked their progress with multiple measurement tools and methodologies. With the advent of Business Analytics there arose a new kind of project involved in data mining, building models and deriving insights that could be applied to the business with the end-result of generating measurable outcomes. CRISP-DM was added to the list of methodologies. Analytics was now both a part of the project management process, and a project in its own right. This presentation will walk through how the two co-exist.

About the Instructor:

Dr. Judy Lee

Dr. Judy Lee is a Professor in the Ageno School of Business at Golden Gate University where she was instrumental in developing Master of Science Programs in IT Management, Project Management and Business Analytics. She is Chair of the Business Innovation & Technology Dept. and Program Director of the MS/Business Analytics degree. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Lee held leadership positions in Software Engineering, PM and IT Management, including the title of CIO.
