Microsoft Project lacks estimating and other tools needed for good project planning, management, and control. You can copy such tools to your templates and schedules from a template Oliver will demonstrate and provide on request. He will also show how setting project priorities can reduce project durations.
The tools he will show include views with tables and formulas for checking schedule quality, estimating and tracking objectively, recording the root cause of task troubles, including shock absorbers, and reporting.

Oliver Gildersleeve
Oliver Gildersleeve, PMP, MCTS is a scheduling instructor for PMI Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area chapters as well as UC Santa Cruz and San Francisco State extensions.
