PM Insights - Foster City: The PM’s LinkedIn Success Template
PM Insights Foster City -
The PM’s LinkedIn Success Template
LinkedIn has been making changes again this year – Do any of them make a difference to you? This interactive presentation will take a look at LinkedIn as a powerful tool for growing your professional brand. Do you know how to differentiate yourself and take advantage of this valuable tool? Are you seen as an employer/manager of choice? LinkedIn is a great opportunity, and project managers are smart people who should be able to take advantage of technology, but networking and social media are not skills that most technical professionals
have a chance to study.
This practical and informative workshop will demonstrate how to use the world’s largest business network to powerfully represent yourself both passively if someone you meet looks at your profile and actively to gain attention from recruiters and employers and potential employees (they’re looking at you too!) You will see how LinkedIn can help you enhance your personal brand and promote your expertise as a professional. And you will find out how to dominate searches and establish a powerful online identity.
This session will be beneficial for both people who are relatively new to using LinkedIn and those who’ve had a profile for years but want to amp up their visibility and use it more effectively.
Takeaways:
- Learn how to create an inviting profile that effectively promotes yourself
- Find out how to choose proper keywords and place them effectively to show up in searches
- Learn how to use LinkedIn to build a network of meaningful relationships that will help you throughout your career
