The purpose of this presentation is to present a proven method for improving productivity via a management style geared to encourage innovation while maintaining organizational alignment. Management by Acceptance begins with establishing realistic expectations that all involved can agree to. It includes establishment of feedback loops within the organization and manipulating the environment to make it more conducive for producing desired results. The most important part of management by acceptance is the development of employee skill sets to maximize the ability to produce the desired outcome.

Brian has 27 years of management experience across different industries including the Oil Industry, Banking & Finance, Insurance, and Telecommunications. As a graduate of Case Western Reserve University he was the 13th person on the planet to receive the CBAP certification from the IIBA and currently holds a PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, IGCF (Innovation Games Certified Facilitator), Agile Marketing Trainer Certification from IC—Agile, and a hosts of others.

This event is a professional society meeting, held for the benefit of its members. The Plan Ahead registration fee paid is based on the registrant's ability to commit to attendance, ahead of time. The Plan Ahead registration fee will not be refunded for any reason, other than event cancellation, after normal business hours (5:00 PM, Pacific) on the registration deadline day. The PMI - Silicon Valley Chapter reserves the right to make last minute changes to program content and speakers, as circumstances dictate.
