In the current times of uncertainty and confusion due to COVID-19, many of us are concerned about the employment. The current number of unemployed people are staggering and unheard of. Some of us in the project management community have lost their jobs and many are dreading to hear the sad news.
Can we really do anything in such a situation? Career coach and Agile coach Mandar Kulkarni believes that we can prepare ourselves to handle the jobquake situation just like we prepare for the earthquake. In his presentation, Mandar shares his 6-sided strategy with many insights and tips based on his first-hand experience of joblessness in the past.

About the Instructor:
Mandar Kulkarni
Mandar Kulkarni is a Career Coach and Agile Coach. His career coaching experience and and expertise covers three areas: career transition, thriving at workplace and exploring entrepreneurship.
Working full-time as Director of Agile Transformation at a non-retail financial institute in San Francisco, Mandar comes from a strong software development and project/program management background and holds MBA from India. He ran his software product company in India before arriving in US in 1997. Over last 23 years, Mandar has successfully delivered many projects and programs in the companies like Cisco Systems, Accenture, Wells Fargo, Farmers Insurance and American Express. Passionate about teaching, Mandar has taught many technology and business topics in corporate and public settings, including PMP prep bootcamps. At present, he teaches classes related to Agile certifications including SAFe agile.
He is an active volunteer at PMISV and was the Director of Certifications from 2005 to 2019. In 2019, Mandar has taken up a role of Director of Mentoring and recently launched the Mentoring program at PMISV.
In addition, Mandar is a published author of a book on leadership: From Team Player to Team Leader (available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats). He is a speaker at the meet ups and conferences. In 2017, Mandar launched a first-ever podcast in his regional Indian language - Marathi, which is soon to reach a milestone of 50 episodes. He is also a filmmaker who has made a shortfilms and documentaries.
