Description:

Execution Managers tend to think their role starts with a ‘given goal’ moving along to planning and delivering to a schedule. In reality, Problem Framing is the most crucial first step to arriving at the right solution. This is imperative for any successful program, or product. A structured approach to Problem Framing and Solution design, bringing key stakeholders together, is a role of the Execution leader that is often overlooked. We will review what are the symptoms of this behavior, and how to bring about a change in this model.

We will go on to review some guiding principles for Problem Framing. We will review some realistic scenarios and do some group exercises to practice some of the principles.
