About the Instructor:
Jonathan Lee
Jonathan Lee, PMP, PMI-ACP, DAC, DASSM, CSM, PSPO, PSM, MCSE, is an Agile Instructor, Coach, Adjunct Industry Professor, and Servant Leader with over 29 years of IT consulting experience across private and public sectors. He has held diverse roles, including Developer, Business Analyst, CRM Solutions Architect, Project/Program Manager, Agile Coach, Product Owner, and Scrum Master. Specializing in agile transformation, he helps individuals, teams, and organizations adopt and adapt agile ways of working, emphasizing that agility is a continuous journey.
A featured speaker at PMI’s 2022 PMXPO, he presented “PMBOK 7th Edition – Tailoring Your Approach to Deliver Value” following its release. He is a frequent speaker at PMI chapters. As a contributor to PMI’s PMBOK® 8th Edition Draft for Comment Period (DCP), Jonathan has deep insights into the evolving landscape of project management. He has firsthand experience navigating the transition from traditional to agile ways of working, bringing valuable perspectives and real-world stories. He has also contributed as a PMI Global Summit presentation reviewer, shaping thought leadership in the project management community.
Jonathan served on PMI Chicagoland’s Executive Board from 2010 to 2020, including three years as Chapter President (2016–2019), where he advocated for greater agile adoption at PMI Leadership Institute Meetings and Region 2 gatherings. With extensive practitioner experience and a strong commitment to both PMI and the agile community, he is uniquely positioned to help bridge traditional project management and agile practices.
