Before there was the discipline of Business Analytics, project management professionals tracked their progress with multiple measurement tools and methodologies. With the advent of Business Analytics there arose a new kind of project involved in data mining, building models and deriving insights that could be applied to the business with the end-result of generating measurable outcomes. CRISP-DM was added to the list of methodologies. Analytics was now both a part of the project management process, and a project in its own right. This presentation will walk through how the two co-exist. |
