Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. How many PDUs will I get for attending the Symposium?

Attendees will earn 7.0 PDUs. If you are unable to attend all of the sessions, the amount of session hours you attend will be calculated for PDUs you may claim.

Q2. How do I report PDUs for this event?

You can find the reporting instructions on the Claiming PDUs page. The link to specific 2023 Symposium event codes will be available after the event ends.

Q3. When is registration open and how do I register?

Early bird registration opens July 12, 2023. You can register by going to the Registration page.

Q4. Are volunteering opportunities available?

Volunteering opportunities are available for currently registered PMISV volunteers only. A special invitation will be sent to these active volunteers. If you are an active volunteer and do not receive the invitation, please send us an inquiry.

Q5. How do I attend the Symposium virtually?

The webinar link to join the Symposium sessions will be sent to registered attendees 5 days before the event. You will also receive a reminder with the link 24 hours prior to the event start date. Check your spam folder if you do not see it in your email inbox.

Q6. Where is the in-person event taking place?

The in-person venue will take place at Mission College. More information will be available soon.

Q7. Are there discounts for staying at nearby hotels?

Currently, we do not have discounted room rates or preferred hotel arrangements for this event.

Q8. Are meals included with my in-person registration?

Yes, food and coffee are included with the in-person registration.

Q9. Is there a vegetarian option at the meals? What about other special diet requirements?

Vegetarian option is available for breakfast and lunch. We are unable to take additional special dietary requests.

Q10. Are there elevators and ramps at Mission College for wheelchair access?

Mission College is compliant to the standards (Public Law 101-336) of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The facility is fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
