Description:

The purpose of this presentation is to present a proven method for improving productivity via a management style geared to encourage innovation while maintaining organizational alignment. Management by Acceptance begins with establishing realistic expectations that all involved can agree to.  It includes establishment of feedback loops within the organization and manipulating the environment to make it more conducive for producing desired results.  The most important part of management by acceptance is the development of employee skill sets to maximize the ability to produce the desired outcome.

Takeaways:

The human mind automatically filters out the wrong information unless directed to explicitly to focus on the right information

Systematic feedback is a necessity in order to keep people from drifting away from the goal

It is necessary to modify the environment to make it easier for employees to do the hard activities necessary to produce desired outcome
