Description: The Forum’s mission is to provide a community for women interested in the Project Management profession, focused on mutual growth and sharing of knowledge through informal meetings, networking and mentoring. Through mutual sharing the group seeks to provide insights into Project Management issues common to multiple industries. This interaction enables participants to make significant positive changes to their work environment.
Meeting Leader:
Janet Daijo
Janet is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and Medical Device industries. Her expertise spans technical program/project management, product development, and technical support.
She is a highly accomplished individual with certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM), and SAFe Agilist (SA). Her experience encompasses New Product Introduction (NPI), Business Leadership, and Technical Product Support.
Janet has a proven track record of success in managing diverse
projects, from software development and assay kits to process
improvement initiatives. She holds a Master's in Cell, Molecular, & Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University.
Her professional journey includes roles at Change Foods, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Roche Diagnostics, Molecular Devices, and other leading companies in the Life Sciences sector. Beyond her professional pursuits, Janet enjoys swimming, coaching, reading, arts, and volunteering.
