About PM Breakfast Meeting
Monthly Breakfast Meeting is a small gathering of project managers (10 to 15) to discuss current PM trends, best practice,brainstorm resolutions against challenges, and job info exchange. The meeting's agenda is set ad hoc at the beginning of each gathering by the breakfast leaders and attendees.
 
The meeting is a facilitated roundtable discussion on agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. These meetings are open to anyone who is interested: PMs, members, non-members, and professionals who are interested in the PM arena.
 
By attending our breakfast gathering, you'll gain:

Ainsley Nies

Consultant

Ainsley consults with organizations that want to perform at their highest level. Her work is focused on the development of sustainable environments for learning and continuous improvement primarily through methods such as chartering, retrospectives, Open Space Technology, or World Café. In addition, she teaches a variety of courses in the UC Berkeley Extension Agile Management Program. Ainsley is also on the coordinating committee of the Bay Area Agile Leadership Network, initiator and co-founder of Agile Open California, and President of the Pacifica AAUW Branch. Her recent book, co-authored with Diana Larsen, “Liftoff: Launching Agile Teams and Projects Toward Success” will be available in print this Fall.

Mary Ann Michaels

Volunteer

Mary Ann is an experienced large-scale project leader with a focus in multi-channel retail. She has proven success in delivering innovative solutions on-time and within budget while leading direct or matrixed organizations. She’s a strong advocate of Agile and has worked with teams in Canada, UK, China, Mexico, and India. Her background includes Walmart.com, Williams-Sonoma, Levi Strauss and other companies. She’s been part of PMI since 2009 and appreciates the great networking opportunities in the organization.
