Description
Do you wonder how the technology leaders can make use of Agile and Lean fundamentals to create OKRs and maintain a Top-Down Strategy? The Agile teams are set up to deliver product features and big capabilities aligned to the ever refining strategy. Such implementations at the org level are geared towards delivering the Big Rocks first and then the small rocks and finally the gravel to ensure that the teams deliver the highest value needle-moving product feature at all times.

Workshop Instructor: Anup Deshpande
Anup Deshpande, has been instrumental in Agile Transformation at the enterprise level and has over 25 years of program management, business operations, and security experience in the Software Industry. He has served at the PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter as a Chief Governance Officer (CGO), a President, and a Board Member as well as a President at the PMI Silicon Valley Chapter in the last 10 years. He serves on the Agile Advisory Board and teaches as an Adjunct Faculty at UC Berkeley Extension for a wide variety of Agile and Project Management curricula.
He currently works at a Fortune 100 company, as a Sr. Director of Program Management and Business Operations and has tremendous energy to drive audacious goals for the company. Prior to this, he worked at various tech giants including Yahoo, Visa, and Broadcom where he spearheaded multiple cross-organizational goals to successful completion.
He has bootstrapped two software product startups successfully. He is currently focused on building Trackegy, one of his young startups where they prepare the students for the exams and take the confidence of their students off the roof making them successful to take on further career advancements.

This event is a professional society meeting, held for the benefit of its members. The Plan Ahead registration fee paid is based on the registrant's ability to commit to attendance, ahead of time. The Plan Ahead registration fee will not be refunded for any reason, other than event cancellation, after normal business hours (5:00 PM, Pacific) on the registration deadline day. The PMI - Silicon Valley Chapter reserves the right to make last-minute changes to program content and speakers, as circumstances dictate.
