Recommended Reading prior to the presentation: The-business-value-of-design-vF.pdf
Conversation about User Experience and role of Design to help companies succeed in its Digital Transformation Journey is on all media channels and yet it seems elusive to understand what is a good design process vs. bad design process. Often there is a confusion caused by the blurred lines between who owns what - who defines product strategy, user needs and what we develop. Why should the doers like designers, architects and engineers deserve a seat at the table and also be accounted for in the planning process?
The session will provide an introduction on Design Thinking process through a engaging immersive exercise and also help demystify processes designers use to define the user experience. Come to this session with your question to get clarification of design processes and get a peak into the creative process.
Takeaways:
- Design Thinking is a Collaborative Process, Design is not a Collaborative Process
- Bad User Experience is no longer acceptable, plan for designing good experience
- Users Empathy allows you to create product based on user needs
