Danielle Davenport is the author of “Cannabis Inc.: The Journey from Compassion to Consolidation”, and is considered a business leader and authority within the cannabis industry. She speaks globally on the cannabis economy –its current challenges and immense opportunities. She is currently CEO for the Global Foundry Group (a Cannabis Consulting Partnership), a provider of strategy, target structure, due-diligence, merger, and integration. Danielle is an active investor, advisor, and board member in several cannabis initiatives. She provides capital, strategic analysis and capacity building to high potential ideas with a focus on disruptive growth strategies, models and technologies.
Danielle has over 10 years in agro and cannabis consulting and coupled with 15 years of experience in large-scale technology companies, she brings a unique combination of credibility and acumen to the cannabis economy. She has served as an Executive within IT, Operations, Marketing, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Development, most notably with Royal Dutch Shell in London and The Hague and Hewlett-Packard Corp., Ltd. and GmbH in the US and across Europe. She has successfully led large-scale operational functions and the implementation of complex corporate strategies and transformational mergers/acquisitions. Danielle has launched two companies, authored a patent and won several awards for innovation. She holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics. She has also completed post-graduate studies in Technology and Corporate Strategy from IESE in Barcelona, Spain.
Danielle is a Silicon Valley native and is an advocate for sustaining compassion in the new cannabis economy. She believes in entrepreneurial parity and for advancing women’s rights and education worldwide
