Where does a manager’s work take place?  In meetings.  Yet if you ask people what they would most want to change about their work “meetings” is one of the most common answers. 

We’re all familiar with terrible meetings, that waste our time and achieve nothing, but we dare not miss them just in case.

How would you like better meetings?  Meetings that are truly high value, where the participants come away happy that their time was well spent and clear the outcome has been achieved?  Every time?

This session will introduce you to a Taxonomy of Meetings, with sixteen meeting templates, three kinds of meeting in three categories, and a general set of principles to have all your meetings be effective.  This approach has been described as “upgrading the operating system of work”.  We’ll also have fun trying to find any meetings that don’t fit this taxonomy!
