Value Optimization Through Lean Problem Solving
How do you know what tools to pick to problem solve for a particular problem? A problem properly defined is half solved, as they say. But do you know how to classify the most common organizational problems?
In this workshop we'll learn about a simple approach to categorize problems and thus deduce the appropriate problem-solving toolsets.
Knowing how to effectively solve problems has a direct impact on organizational value creation at all levels of an organization. Be it at the point of activity itself, velocity of a team or efficacy of the value stream, the impact of an effectively solved or not solved problem has a ripple effect throughout the company.
Don't be caught using the wrong approach to solve problems only to see them reappear again. Create value in your organization by utilizing the appropriate lean problem-solving tools and techniques.
Takeaways:
- Learn to frame a problem
- Learn about lean problem-solving tools (A3 Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping PDCA, DOE etc.)
- Understand how to match the type of problem with the appropriate tool and technique
