PMO Round Table Breakfast Meeting - May 2021

The Chapter holds a Breakfast Round Table focused upon the PMO Practice and Operations once a month. This round table group provides a general forum to discuss various issues, problems, and challenges related to organizing, operating and managing a PMO within any organization. The format is open, with round-robin topics decided by the attendees each month.

If you are, or have been, involved in any of the following activities, this round table will be for you.

  • Monitoring and Controlling Project Performance
  • Developing Project Management Methodologies and Competencies
  • Multi-Project Portfolio Management - Strategic Management, PMOs and Governance
  • Organizational Learning - Communicating PMO Value

PMO Round Table meetings are open to anyone who is interested. The only cost is what you order from the menu, separate checks provided. 

 

  Meeting Leader: David Bakhtnia

David is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in business management (lean business, process improvement, risk mitigation, P&L, etc.) and technical solutions (software/SaaS product development, mobile apps, e-Commerce, CRMS, ERPS, HRIS, and IT/infrastructure projects). He has a unique background combining solutions architect, products delivery, business growth and client support services. David is co-founder and senior consultant at Softinet providing business and technical consulting services; vis-à-vis available and emerging technology solutions, business processes, best-practical and low-cost remedies, as well as strategic business development, digital marketing and sales leads generation.

David is an active member of PMI-Silicon Valley since 2011 in a variety of roles. In addition to daily professional schedule, David volunteers at other professional organizations as well as helping professional/technical graduates to achieve career goals.

Each meeting is a small gathering of project managers for a discussion of the current career environment, sharing of information and brainstorming on current challenges. The meeting's agenda is the topics brought by the attendees. Every meeting is facilitated by a Chapter Volunteer.

These breakfast & group events around the Bay Area are to support chapter members and the project management community. The chapter encourages professionals to attend and participate by bringing their questions and issues to their colleagues.
