Monthly the chapter holds seven geographically dispersed (Project Management) PM Breakfast Meetings in San Francisco’s Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay. Each of these is a small gathering (10 to 15) project managers for a discussion of the current PM environment, sharing of information, and brainstorming of current challenges. The meeting's agenda is the topics brought by the attendees. Every meeting is facilitated by a chapter volunteer.
This is a facilitated roundtable discussion on agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. The intent of the meeting is to promote an informal gathering of a dozen project managers to discuss current topics in the profession, receive suggestions from the other attendees on current project challenges, or share/receive information on items of interest.
These meetings are open to anyone who is interested.

Beginning February 2021, Dulce Lord will once again lead the PMI Breakfast Roundtable meetings. She will be leading the PM Breakfast Meeting - San Mateo, which is currently held virtually every 2 nd Tuesday of the month. Dulce has volunteered/hosted the Belmont Roundtable meetings for 8 years (2007 – 2015); and she also founded the San Bruno Breakfast and Happy Hour (2008 – 2010). Dulce also served on the IT Advisory Committee in Foster City and was elected Chair in 2007. Dulce has been consulting and managing projects and programs (waterfall and agile) for more than 24 years. Her extensive experience included managing IT and construction projects at Gap Inc, point of sale system at Bare Escentuals Inc. As a current Consultant at Slalom LLC Inc, Dulce is currently managing IT Quality and Security projects at Gilead Life Sciences in Foster City, California.

PMISV holds breakfast & group events around the Bay Area to support its member and the project management community. The chapter encourages professionals to attend and participate by bringing their questions and issues to their colleagues.
