Monthly the chapter holds seven geographically dispersed (Project Management) PM Breakfast Meetings in San Francisco’s Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay. Each of these is a small gathering (10 to 15) project managers for a discussion of the current PM environment, sharing of information, and brainstorming of current challenges. The meeting's agenda is the topics brought by the attendees. Every meeting is facilitated by a chapter volunteer.
 
This is a facilitated roundtable discussion on agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. The intent of the meeting is to promote an informal gathering of a dozen project managers to discuss current topics in the profession, receive suggestions from the other attendees on current project challenges, or share/receive information on items of interest.
These meetings are open to anyone who is interested.
 
The only cost is what you order form the menu, separate checks.

Dulce Franke, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM is currently a Senior Project Manager in IT at Gap Inc and has been delivering IT Projects (infrastructure, facilities and web applications) for more than 20 years. Before Gap Inc, she was Account Executive at a bottled water company in Sacramento, worked at several companies in the Bay Area as a Consultant, and worked in the Philippines as Advertising Media Director. Dulce also served on the IT Advisory Committee in the city of Foster City and was elected Chair in 2007.  Dulce graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration at California State University, Sacramento, California in 1994 and completed three years of Economics degree in the Philippines. Dulce started the San Bruno Happy Hour and currently hosts the Belmont Roundtable meetings.
 
AinsleyAinsley consults with organizations that want to perform at their highest level.  Her work is focused on the development of sustainable environments for learning and continuous improvement primarily through methods such as chartering, retrospectives, Open Space Technology, or World Café.  In addition, she teaches a variety of courses in the UC Berkeley Extension Agile Management Program.
 
Ainsley is also on the coordinating committee of the Bay Area Agile Leadership Network, initiator and co-founder of Agile Open California, and President of the Pacifica AAUW Branch.  Her recent book, co-authored with Diana Larsen, “Liftoff: Launching Agile Teams and Projects Toward Success” will be available in print this Fall.
