Below are the current open positions for volunteers and a brief summary of the requirements. Please review and contact the Volunteering Director if you are interested in volunteering

Operations Operations Volunteer

He/She should be willing

  • to compile documents from various leaders in the chapter and compile into an operations manual as per the templates we have.
  • willing to work with other leaders in the chapters in identifying processes and document them

Requirement: Enthusiasm, Willing to communicate and desire to self-improve.

 2-4 hours per week 1
Sponsorship Sponsorship Volunteer
He/She should be willing to

  • compile a list of potential sponsors of the chapter
  • solicit sponsorship via emails and follow up regularly
  • work as point person for sponsors and work with various leaders and chapter team members in various aspects of sponsorship

Requirement: Enthusiasm, Willing to communicate and desire to self-improve.
 2-4 hours per week 1
Career Management Seminar Career Management
Once a month on the second Thursday at 5:30 pm – 8:30pm

  • Assist with registration of attendees at the Career Management Program. Signing in members, checking names against the registration sheet and giving labels
  • Collect fees from walk-ins and give receipts
  • Answer general questions
  • Willing to be trained to print name badges
  • Take on the responsibility of printing name badges as and when required

Membership New Member Orientation
Regular Event - once a month on the second Thursday at 5:00 pm – 6:00pm Sunnyvale Community Center, Ballroom

  • Assist with sending out email
  • Assist with registration of attendees. Signing in members, checking names against the registration sheet and giving labels
  • Introduce new members to Activity Leaders
  • Answer general questions
  • Willing to be trained to print name badges
  • Take on the responsibility of printing name badges as and when required
  • Assist with event logistics – preparing new member packets, catering, set up, etc.
  • Assist with surveys and compiling data
  • Assist with event activities
2 hours per month 3
Special Event
Volunteers Pool
Volunteers who cannot make a definite commitment to a particular activity but may be available if informed of a need. This allows for flexibility and is most suited for members who cannot commit to a fixed time but would like to volunteer when possible. This is also a GREAT opportunity to volunteer in different activities if you don’t know which one would interest you.
  • Willing to be registered in a pool and receive emails when back up volunteers are required
  • Willing to work at a short notice
  • Have the option to fill in for a regular volunteer
  • Have the option to assist when special events require more volunteers
  • Willing to assist where and when necessary

  • Deal with printers and coordinate print jobs

Community Outreach Group Membership Committee Member He/She should be willing
  • to attend biweekly conference call meetings
  • to reach out to make contacts with local community groups
  • to attend special events organized by the group
Requirement: desire to volunteer in the community, desire tohelp the group learn how to offer and promote PM services to NPOs
2-5 hours per month no limit
